Terms of Service

Last updated: 23 August 2026 — Blaze Services Auckland.

These Terms of Service apply to mobile full service, premium service, and mobile vehicle diagnostics provided by BLAZE SERVICES LIMITED, trading as Blaze Services Auckland ("we" or "us") in New Zealand. By making a booking with us, and/or by clicking "Pay" on our website, you agree to these Terms of Service.

1. Services We Provide

We provide mobile full service, premium service, and mobile vehicle diagnostics at the address you supply in the Auckland region. Our services are limited to the specific items listed in your booking confirmation (for example: oil and filter as part of a booked full or premium service, or diagnostic work as booked). We do not currently offer brake pad replacement as a standalone service.

2. Bookings, Pricing & Payment

  • All bookings are subject to our confirmation and technician availability.
  • Prices shown at the time of booking are in NZD and include GST unless stated otherwise. Any travel surcharge will be shown before you confirm.
  • Payment is processed securely through Stripe or another third-party payment processor. We do not store your full card details on our systems.
  • Your booking is not confirmed until payment has been successfully processed, unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing.

3. Your Responsibilities

  • You must provide a safe, legal and reasonably level area for us to work on your vehicle.
  • You must ensure there is clear access to your vehicle at the booked time (including any gate or parking arrangements).
  • You must provide accurate information about your vehicle (including registration, make, model, year and engine details) so that the correct oil and parts can be used.
  • You must remove any personal or valuable items from the vehicle. We are not responsible for loss or damage to items left inside the vehicle.

4. Vehicle Condition & Limitations

  • Our services are preventative and maintenance-focused, plus mobile diagnostics when you book that service. Diagnostics is limited to the diagnostic work described in your booking confirmation. It does not include repair unless you book that separately, and it does not guarantee that every possible fault will be identified. We do not carry out work beyond what is listed on your confirmation unless we agree otherwise.
  • We may refuse or stop work if, in our reasonable opinion, the vehicle is unsafe, excessively modified, or in a condition that makes the service inappropriate or unsafe to complete.
  • We rely on manufacturer and industry information when selecting oil grade and filters based on the details you provide. We are not liable if those details are incomplete or incorrect.

5. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • You may request to reschedule a booking by contacting us as early as reasonably possible before the appointment time.
  • We reserve the right to charge a reasonable fee or decline a refund for late cancellations, change of mind, or where we have already incurred costs (for example, special-order parts or travel).
  • We may cancel or reschedule a booking at any time due to weather, safety concerns, traffic or access issues, staff illness, or other reasons beyond our reasonable control. If we cancel, we will either reschedule or refund any pre-paid amount relating to the cancelled service.

6. Warranty & What We Guarantee

  • We will carry out services with reasonable care and skill, in line with accepted automotive servicing practices in New Zealand.
  • We warrant our workmanship for a reasonable period after the service (typically 30 days) for the specific work we have carried out. If you believe there is an issue with our workmanship, you must contact us as soon as possible so we can inspect the vehicle.
  • Consumable parts such as oil and filters are covered by the relevant manufacturer’s warranty, if any. Our obligation is limited to correctly installing those parts.
  • Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA) where it applies. If you are acquiring services for business purposes (as defined in the CGA), you agree that the CGA does not apply.

7. What We Are Not Liable For

To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law, and subject always to your non-excludable rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act and other applicable law:

  • We are not liable for any indirect, consequential or special loss (including loss of income, business, profits, or opportunity) arising out of our services.
  • We are not liable for pre-existing faults, wear and tear, or damage that was not caused by our workmanship (for example: engine issues caused by past neglect, sludge, or previously incorrect oil).
  • We are not responsible for damage or delay caused by factors outside our reasonable control (including traffic, weather, road closures, or third-party failures).
  • Our total liability to you for any claim relating to our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific service giving rise to the claim, except where New Zealand law requires a higher amount.

8. Privacy

How we collect and use personal information is described on our Privacy page. We collect information such as your name, contact details, vehicle details and address to manage your booking, deliver our services, and handle payment and customer support. We may share necessary information with our payment processor (currently Stripe) and our service providers where required to provide our services. We will take reasonable steps to keep your information secure and to comply with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.

9. General

  • These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes may be dealt with by the New Zealand courts.
  • If any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining parts will continue in full force.
  • We may update these Terms of Service from time to time by posting the updated version on this page. The version in force at the time of your booking will generally apply to that booking.
